woohoo....Christmas....is over!

I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays and had a very merry Christmas!

These past few days have been filled with a lot of parent time. My parents... Thankfully Zac is the best and even though I know he is bored to death most of time he puts up with my crazy parents in their kooky old age.

Sunday we made tamales and Zac had his first experience making them. Even though it didn't take as long as previous years I still got tired. All four of us made a few and so it was kind of funny because we were all doing something a little different. It doesn't matter once you're eating them.

Tuesday we went back and celebrated Christmas. It was just the four of us again so it was quiet. But oh my god my mom tried to kill us with food. She made so much of it that we were practically exploding. She fed us breakfast and then four hours later she made us eat dinner which consisted of two chickens, ham, macaroni salad, cranberry sauce, green beans and rolls. Then she also made a chocolate cake. Aaaaaghhh. After eating my mom gave us half of the leftovers to take home. A few minutes later I took Daisy out for a pee break and when I came in Zac was eating two pieces of cake and drinking hot chocolate. I went up to my mom and asked her why she gave him cake when I was taking home pieces. She made her little I'm not guilty face and said "he asked for cake".

So apart from my mom telling me family and work gossip and my dad telling lies like when he said he was a bartender in Puerto Vallarta, Christmas was good. Oh, we also were explained the magnificence which is the 99 cent store. My parents found one that has food and vegetables and they can't stop talking about it. "I got soup for 99 cents. I got eggs for 99 cents. These cookies, 99 cents." Oh well, whatever makes them happy.

So what did I get for Christmas?
-The Harry Potter DVD set...it's awesome, it has the DVD's, a bookmark set, extra features and a game and it comes in a trunk style carrying case.
-Towels and bedspread
-purse
-dustbuster (this is a whole other blog)
-puzzle

Yay for presents!
