I wish I had a very long vacation coming up.But I don't so instead I'll complain, whine, bitch and moan.
Today was our department bake sale. Somehow when I thought I was free from having to deal with it I ended up spending an hour helping set up. There were raffles as well. I put my tickets in for the $100 but I didn't win. I say it was rigged. A sham I might say. Another way for The Man to bring me down.
I'm a sore loser. If I don't win I don't want to play.
In other news, I'm down to paying off one credit card. I'm so excited to finally get out of the mess I made of my finances when I was in college. I really want to pay off the final balance but I'll have to wait until January for the big payoff since Christmas gifts still need to be bought and bills still need to be paid. I figure by March my laptop will be paid off and then I can concentrate on paying off my student loan. I figure that will take about another 5 years. I'm hoping and praying that my loan balance will be forgiven before I pay off the whole thing.
I'm looking at Daisy right now and she's curled up on the coach sleeping. She has the right idea.

Yes, Daisy was on the coach. You didn't see or hear him because you were stuck to your computer all night with your headphones on.
Yay for paying off credit card debts! I've made a bit of a pickle out of my finances this year. I think I've been going out too much. I'm using my Christmas bonus from work to pay off one of my credit cards and my New Year's Resolution will be to keep a budget. Darn, I never wanted to have to do that! Well, it's either that or find a job that pays me more...
