Two months of finding another job

I hit the 2 month mark.   I still need a real job.

Zac and I went to my Dad's oncology appointment and so far it sounds like um....the doctors don't quite know yet.

When my dad was in the hospital we heard from Dr. Chen that there were spots on his liver the docs wanted to look closer at. She also told us that his gall bladder was bad and that it "could be" Stage 4 cancer that has spread to his liver and as soon as they could do the biopsy they'd set him up for chemo.  Then another doctor in the hospital  came in and asked if we had heard when the biopsy would be done, when we told him it would be another 3 days he said he would look at what he could do to move that up since the tumors were numerous and big. That was the first time it hit me that spots meant tumors.  Well as we waited for Monday to roll around we found out that he couldn't have the biopsy on Monday because he had taken tylenol for a headache and needed that to be out of his system. So on Tuesday they released him from the hospital.  He was still out of it from the stroke, had no appetite and even though he was home we all know the cancer talk was worrying him.

So we've gone from Stage 4 liver cancer and needing chemo to today's discussion about it possibly being benign or cancer originating in his liver.  As of right now the doctors are still looking for the cancer.
