I hate you job market.
Y U NO WANT TO HIRE ME? (insert ugly face drawing here) (I will not go and find it) (I hate the word meme)
I have officially applied to over 20 positions. I had gone as far as interviewing twice at one position with high hopes for an offer and then two days ago I read a post that the hospital group I applied for had eliminated 200 positions. Bleh...
I'm going back to Walgreens...they probably don't want me.
Today is the anniversary that our house was broken into. I have Daisy patrolling the property at regular intervals throughout the day with a shotgun that I engineered for her to shoot intruders. I also got the neighborhood stray cats to work as snipers. I have them stationed on the roof and the pine tree on the side of the house. I also booby trapped the backyard with Daisy poop. I also plan to booby trap the the doors and windows in case Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern are in the neighborhood.
Oh and while I'm in this Christmas holiday cheery mood...do you know what I hate right now? People that post on facebook if their friends want a Christmas card to send their addresses.
Update****Daisy has just alerted me to some suspicious activity in the street. There appears to be a dog sniffing around. No doubt that dog is part of the enemy camp looking for weaknesses to my fortress of solitude. Daisy has successfully made it loud and clear that we will not be robbed again. There you go dog, go tell your master.
Back to my previous rant. I will not request a Christmas card from you. If you have the time and enjoy sending out cards I will gladly open them and post them on my wall. If you ask me personally for my address I will gladly give it. It just seems so odd and annoying that people are posting that now. What if you are the type that wants to have 500+ friends and the weirdos and people you don't even know ask for a card. Do you just ignore these people or still send a card? How would Jesus feel if you ignored these people? How many cards or photocards did you buy that you have enough to send to facebook friends that you don't have addresses for?
Just to let my readers know...I did not do Christmas cards this year. I don't have any stamps and the money that I would spend on stamps is better spent on soda. Instead I might post a boring facebook statement wishing you all Happy Holidays and a Merry Christmas....Or I might not.
