During lunch today my coworker and I went to the tortilleria across the street. While we were waiting in line there was this tiny girl ordering. She had this cute little haircut and was wearing a cute sweater, cute cropped jeans and cute Coach purse. I kept checking her out to see what cute shoes she must have on....ugly clear plastic flip flops and *gasp* the worst looking feet EVER! Her feet were dry and ashy, her toenails were disgusting and her heels were so cracked and dry that they looked so dirty. I couldn't stop staring. I turned to my coworker and had her follow my gaze and then when she saw what I saw she said "YIKES!"...then we both couldn't stop staring. Geesh....I don't get fancy manicures or pedicures but I still know how to use a good old fashioned nail clipper, pumice stone and lotion! And if I don't have time to do that stuff I don't wear flip flops in public!!!!
