Highrollers

Today was our company luncheon at Skyline Country Club. We were somewhere in that building in the picture. It's pretty sweet there and it was quite a treat to have lunch there. We were released from work around 11:30 and we headed over to the country club. Lunch was awesome with a choice of steak or chicken and for dessert we had creme brulee...my favorite (behind cheesecake and german chocolate cake)!

Our president gave a quick speech and he told us the good news that we made money this year!!!! Woo hoo! After a few rounds of layoffs and a system conversion it was pretty worrisome that we might be the next company to go. Hopefully the new year will bring us more good news. Old ladies still need their polyester pants and supportive walking shoes!

At the end of lunch we were given a Christmas card from the company with a Walmart gift card! How cool is that! Yeah Walmart may not be the store of choice for many people but Walmart really does have pretty much anything so whether you need groceries or glasses this card could really help.

I'm incredibly thankful for my job, even though this past year really sucked at times and we lost a lot of good people, I can't help but love my coworkers and management. When your own VP makes you brownies you feel special!
