this and that

I posted the pictures of our work pumpkin decorating contest on facebook. I think everyone pretty much waited to the last minute to work on their pumpkins but they turned out good and plus it was fun.

I lost Zac to facebook now. For a guy that has a PS3 he's already addicted to the facebook apps. He said he would have joined it a lot sooner if I had told him there were games.

This morning we had a staff meeting. The conversation centered around a marketing meeting some had attended about selling our items to the 50+ age group. One of the points that was brought up was how seniors are into gardening and to think about including that in the lifestyle aspect or even include gardening items into our catalogs. Our VP(in the 50+ age bracket) said that she got some knee pads for Valentine's Day. I turned to my neighbor, another 20 something, and said "that's kind of kinky" I then had to tell my other neighbor another 20 something. We were all laughing too hard to pay anymore attention. We were pretty sure no one else would get it but the horrible mental image was enough to keep us laughing throughout the day. Maybe her husband is trying to tell her something?
