So I remember when the book came out but didn't really pay much attention to it. I remember giving Danielle the second book in the series as a gift not knowing it was part of a series. I heard all the hype surrounding the movie but forgot about everything else. I have a bad memory.A coworker wanted to go see it so Friday night we went and braved the crowds of teenage girls with their Team Edward shirts and their Nintendo DSamabobbers. We stood in the ridiculous line to get into the theater only to be deathly afraid of the theater employee that we called "the line nazi". He made kids that were supposedly cutting in line go to the end of the line when they were gone to get popcorn. He made kids stand up in case the line moved. He mumbled stuff like "I'll kick you out, I've done it" (BTW-Daisy has bad gas, yikes!) So when I heard the line nazi go around yelling I was deathly afraid to move and there was no way I was leaving the line to get popcorn and soda.
The movie finally started and at first I wasn't digging the Edward or Mr. Cedric Diggory's vamp look. I found myself swooning halfway through the movie thinking how cute Edward is. Ridiculous. I'm not a 10 year old girl!
Even though Angel and Spike (Blondie Bear) will be my most favoritest vamps of all time I can understand why Edward is appealing. I enjoyed the movie. It was fun to watch and I'll now read the books so I can buy a t-shirt next time and be a cool kid.
P.S. They showed the trailer for Harry Potter!!!! I'm excited!
