Today we went to a Memorial Day service at the cemetery. My dad was in the National Guard as a youngin and even though he never really mentioned it much while he was alive the fact that he served became a big deal when he died. Last Wednesday or Thursday my mom saw a flyer at work that had my dad's name on it as one of the few buried in the cemetery that would be honored. So naturally my mom wanted to go. The service was short and sweet and I even chatted with a girl I knew from high school. After the service we went back to my mom's house to eat breakfast. We noticed the neighbors across the street were having a yard sale and after breakfast we went and checked it out. My mom said the stuff has been sitting out for 5 or 6 days and all the plastic bags that the junk was in all flew over to my mom's yard.
We went over and were looking at the books then I started looking through the clothes. I found a brand new Adidas jacket for Zac and then I found a Louis Vuitton purse for me. The purse was only 50 cents so I snapped it up. I'm 100% sure it's fake but that is ok with me. It's still neat and it's insurance for the next time we get robbed.
A few years ago I received a LV wallet/purse thing as a Christmas gift. The wallet was wrapped lovingly in kleenex and I even got a free bobby pin. I figured that was fake and because of its odd shape I never really saw myself using it. I stuffed it away in my sock drawer. When our house was broken into and our bedroom was trashed I thought immediately of my little authentic Coach purse I had bought myself. I checked through all the damage and I was happy to see the Coach bag still there but then noticed the box with the LV wallet was missing. The thieves went for the fake over the real thing. If we ever get robbed again I hope this works again!
