today was another long day. i'm getting sick of this working thing. i'm ready for a daycation to notworksville. i started my super busy day getting ready for a vendor meeting and once i got my reports printed i started working on my review. my review that we had a couple weeks to work on that was due today. my review that i hadn't even started on. in half an hour i rambled on about my strengths and i may have written how i had to work on a lot of reports that were pointless...i might not get that raise this year...oh well.
i then went to my vendor meeting where we went over my reports and talked about work stuff. big plus about this vendor is the swag. i have a new lunch bag...yippee!
after ripping off some heads by yelling at some innocent passersby i went to lunch with my vendor. we went to dakota cafe and i ordered the chicken enchiladas....ugh....so much cheese.....barf. the key lime pie was delish. the vendor i had today is hilarious. she comes off as a dumb type but it's just a cover. she's really the life of the party. today she was telling us about how one of her clients recently had to close up shop and when they were talking my vendor asked her client what she was going to do after closing her business. her client told her that she writes romance novels. the vendor asked what some of her books are because maybe she's read some or she can look them up. turns out the client writes erotic novels and she was too embarrassed to tell the vendor what the titles were. the client probably uses an alias but still how random to find out that someone you worked with writes super trashy novels.
i don't know how old the client is but in my mind i picture a little old lady that is the sweet grandmotherly type selling shoes by day and writing hot and steamy novels at night.
