I'm on the second book by author Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez and I'm not sure why I'm reading it. I remember now. My SIL told me that the first book The Dirty Girls Social Club was a hilarious read similar to Laurie Notaro books. Yeah parts were funny and the fact that it's centered around Hispanic/Latina women kind of makes things a little more interesting but it wasn't a funny book. The book followed a group of Latina women that are friends and have made a pact to meet a few times a year after college. All these girls are successful in jobs but not in love. They care more about their appearance than themselves and one of the characters is practically beaten to death because her husband had to prove how manly he is. The second book isn't much better but I have to finish the book and then the 3rd book because I already bought it. After this book I'm gonna have read something better. Any suggestions?

While perusing pictures on facebook one girl had posted pics of her latest adventures and in some of the pics the girls are so drunk they look horrible. I find it quite amusing because I'm sure when taking that pic they thought they were so hot.

Pulling weeds sucks. While in Vegas the weeds grew like weeds and our house was an embarrassment to embarrassing houses.

Our orange and lemon trees are blowing up with little flowers. It smells nice but it's so overpowering and my allergies are going nuts.

I find it funny that as soon as Zac puts on a movie and relaxes, which means not on his computer he falls asleep instantly. He put on Halloween and now he's asleep.

I'm gonna go read my lame book.
