what happens in vegas...well you know...

We survived another Vegas trip. This past Sunday we made the trek up to Vegas and we made it in good time. Once we got into town we went to the hotel first to see if we could check in.

Cons of the Monte Carlo:
-It took several times around the block to figure out how to get to self-parking/check in parking.
-Parking garage was under construction and so we had to park in a temporary lot across the street.
-Hotel room was ok. Toilet was super scary...it sounded like it could suck in the whole bathroom.
-Not many unique eating establishments or enough attractions inside.

Pros of the Monte Carlo:
-It was cheap.
-Awesome pool, lazy river and wave pool.
-Had some good machines.
-Close to other casinos.
-Had a McDonalds, Subway, and Starbucks

After we settled in on Sunday we met Cheryl for the first time. She is really nice and we look forward to getting to know her better. They picked us up and took us to their timeshare and afterwards we went back to the strip and took a short tour of the strip. We mainly hit Caesar's Palace, Bellagio and Flamingo. We ended up at Margaritaville which is totally awesome!!!! Zac and I had a few margaritas and we had some really good food! The highlight was the girl sliding down the volcano in the margarita blender vat. After dinner we went our separate ways and Zac and I walked back to our hotel. Monday morning after a quick breakfast we were picked up again and we headed to the chapel. Brian and Cheryl got married via walk up window. Zac and I were the witnesses. The whole thing was real simple and over in about 10 minutes. After the wedding we went the Wynn and had a wedding lunch buffet. Good food and great desserts. After lunch we all came back to our hotel and we spent the rest of the afternoon by the pool. We had drinks, had fun and relaxed while people watching. Zac definitely enjoyed the view of the waitress with the fake boobs. That night we decided to eat dinner at New York, New York. We had some damn good Chinese food and after that we went our separate ways again. This time Zac and I managed to waste enough time that at midnight we were hungry again and were eating hotdogs in MGM Grand. We probably went to bed around 1:30 in the morning only to wake up early to meet up with Cheryl and Brian for breakfast. After breakfast buffet at the Palace Station we said our goodbyes and Zac and I wasted a couple hours losing the rest of our money before starting on the long voyage home.

Pictures can be found here. I'm still working on the site so check back often.
