it is absolutely beautiful outside! i love this time as the sun goes down and the temperatures are perfect. it's been pretty warm during the days but i'm stuck inside all day.the animals are out enjoying the sun. the birds are chirping and the grasshoppers are going nuts. it's barely the end of april but i'm ready for the monsoons. i can't wait for power outages, afternoon thunderstorms, and lightening that scares the bejeebus out of me! the smell of wet desert is probably the most beautiful smell i'll ever smell. mmmm.....
my parents are planning a get together this weekend to thank everyone that helped with the house. it will be nice to see everyone again and relax while eating some good food. i called my mom right now to see how things are going with their planning and she asked me to bring a cake that says happy birthday. it just happens to be her birthday on saturday. i was confused because last week she told me not to tell anyone it was her birthday and now she changed her mind. oh well....it'll be fun!
