talk about random

This morning I took Daisy out for a walk. We had just crossed Camino Santiago which is a pretty busy street in the neighborhood. After we crossed, a dog came running up to us from nowhere. I let Daisy's leash a little loose so they could sniff each other but then the brown and white dog ran over to a yard and started sniffing around. It was a very hard walk because Daisy wanted to go play with the dog and the dog would disappear and then come back to us a few houses away. I cut our walk short and the other dog kept following us. When I got back home the dog followed me into the yard and they ran after each other while I went inside to tell Zac a dog followed me home. We separated the dogs and it turns out the doggy was another girl and she had her dog license tag and her Petwatch ID tag. So I called that Petwatch ID number and they told me the dog belonged to a lady named Maria and they gave me two phone numbers. I called Maria and I told her I had her dog and turns out she lives a couple streets down from us. As I was walking the doggy back to her house and as I was turning the corner I saw a lady walking towards me and she says "Teresa is that you?" I look at her and I couldn't believe it was Suzi, a lady I work with! She is a control buyer like me but works in direct imports and sits in a different area than I do. How random it that? So we chatted a bit and it turns out her doggy likes to jump their backyard wall but usually she comes back after she gets out.

Now Daisy is sad because she thought she had a forever friend.
