Social House

A few weekends ago there was another girl's night.  This time we went to Social House located near to the UofA.  It's supposed to be a gastropub, a fancy shmancy name so they can charge you more for fancy bar food. 

This place used to be called Sam Hughes Place and I went there a few years ago when a vendor took us out to lunch once. I think I liked the food better that time. Or maybe I liked the food better that time because it was free! 

I think I got a burger off the happy hour menu.  It seems that I always order the burger when going to these new places.  For some reason Spiced Venison Carpaccio and Mango-Chili Squid Strips just doesn't make my mouth water like a regular burger does.

This place was alright...the company made it fun.
