This morning while checking out my email, fb, and the news I saw that people started posting that Elizabeth Taylor had passed away. I checked the news and read about it and then I thought how all day people are going to post about it. It's kind of like people need to tell others that they know what's going on. So then am I just doing the same thing by posting it here...hmmm....whatever. Then I read some comments about how sad her passing is and how she will truly be missed and I started thinking what impact celebrities have on the regular people.
I know Elizabeth Taylor led a full long life in the Hollywood spotlight. I'm sure I've seen a movie of hers and I've read about all her legendary marriages but honestly when I think of how I remember her it's when she was always pictured by Michael Jackson's side and her White Diamond commercials. Especially her White Diamond commercials because I remember thinking it must be cool so I should get it for my mom.
While it's sad in one way it's kind of a blessing that she died when she was old and grey and not as a young starlet. She had so many health issues it's not like she was going to live forever. I guess these are just my ramblings this a.m.
