One of the worst feelings....

Our house was broken into. Luckily, the thief didn't get away with much but he did get away with blurays and most of my good jewelry. So much for wanting nice pieces of jewelry, I think I'll stick with the crap I buy on clearance at Target.

Daisy is ok, she had a blanket thrown over her.
Knowing that someone could have the nerve to break down your door and go through all your stuff, your most private and/or most sentimental possessions and just throw them to the ground or take them was the worst part.

Then the paranoia sets in. Every noise and person is suspect. Every time Daisy growls and barks I wonder. I hate myself for letting my emotions get the best of me that way.

But now I'm done. Stuff is stuff and as long as this thief or thieves doesn't hurt us they can take whatever else they didn't get in the first round. But good luck to them because we aren't just keeping the door wide open for them. I have hopes of building turrets and getting moonbuggies and maybe a cyclops or two. (Watch Gentlemen Broncos if you haven't seen that yet)

Wow! Sorry that happened :( That really sucks. At least they didn't cause too much damage or hurt Daisy. Hope the turrets help.

Bishop would have been a great dog to have in this case. He would growl and probably bite the thief when he saw the hand go through the door. Oh B....you left us way too early!
