stop staring at me

There is a dog staring at me. She stares intently. It feels like her glare is burning a hole straight through my head. Its almost frightening. She puts her gigantic paw on the window to get my attention. I turn around to ignore her and I can feel it. The staring. I know she's doing it again. I try to fight the urge to turn around but I have to. I turn for the window and she's not there. No. Now she's at the sliding door. Staring. Her tongue hanging out and panting. Her eyes giving me a message. A message of "you better watch out".

Yeah we are dog sitting Siva. She is a miniature horse better known as a german shepard. She is still a pup but she's huge. Daisy and Siva are having fun. There is a lot of making out and face humping going on. We are ok with Daisy's lifestyle decisions as long as she's happy.

Its so nice to have a 3day weekend! Work has been stressful and a bit overwhelming. At times it got to the point you don't even want to go to work because of the possibility of something getting worse or going completely wrong. We found out our company has been officially sold. Its exciting to think of the changes like new technology and possibly better practices set in place to make the business more efficient and cost effective. It is still scary because with any new company taking over you never know what changes good or bad will take place.

Even though we didn't have any big plans this weekend I told Zac its a personal decision to give back to mother nature by not increasing our carbon footprint. I have to make myself feel better somehow and not be jealous about people taking vacations in California while we dogsit. Um...I said too much. Its ok I had a nice surprise on Friday night. I completely forgot Danielle was coming into town and so I not only got to see her for a couple hours but we had dinner at Trattoria Pina. It was good and its always better when you know people.

Life is good and we still have two more days!
